As Vice President and CFO, David is responsible for SKTA’s strategic planning and leading the firm’s financial management, HR and investment portfolios. Prior to joining SK telecom Americas in 2005, David worked for 8 years at SK Telecom in Korea, where he managed corporate development, corporate planning, and enterprise resource planning. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University, Korea.
Jacob is a Senior Manager in the Corporate Development team leading SK’s overseas M&A, strategic investment, and partnership opportunities.
Prior to joining SKTA, Jacob was at Flex (formerly Flextronics), a $25B global supply chain solutions provider delivering innovative design, engineering, and manufacturing services. At Flex, Jacob advised c-level executives on key decisions involving corporate strategy, corporate development, and strategic investments. Prior to Flex, Jacob started his career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on high tech, consumer/retail, and automotive industries.
Jacob holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Jinchul (Jerry) is the Vice President of the Corporate Development team at SK Telecom Americas (SKTA). Jerry specializes in developing long term growth opportunities for SK Telecom and oversees the firm’s acquisition, growth investment, and strategic partnership initiatives. Jerry’s focus areas include cloud solutions, security, AI, media/e-Sports, logistics, and edge computing.
Jerry has extensive experience at Fortune 500 companies, where he led various business groups, including corporate strategy, business development, and strategic alliances. Jerry holds more than 14 years of experience in the Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) industries.
Jerry holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Industrial System Engineering from Yonsei University, Korea.
The founding member of SKTA Innopartners, Joon is Senior Advisor and formerly Vice President InnoPartners at SK Telecom Americas (SKTA). He has over 20 years of leadership experience in telecom/mobile service sectors. Since joining SK in 2003, he has led new business development, corporate strategy and technology management.
Prior to joining SK, Joon served as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Korea Computer Technology, where he led a new venture project for unified messaging systems. He started his career as a software engineer at Samsung, where he developed the world first data service system (IWF — IS-99, IS-657, IS-658) on CDMA system (IS-95a, b, c).
Joon holds an MBA degree from University of Southern California, a MS in Computer and Information Science from University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University.
President of SK Telecom Americas, Inc. and SKTA InnoPartners, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of SK Telecom, Korea, Min also serves as interim General Partner for SK Telecom Ventures. This dedicated $100M venture capital fund makes strategic investments in mobile, semiconductor, telecom and enterprise solutions.
Min actively serves on a number of boards invested by SKTVC in Silicon Valley. Prior to joining SK Telecom Americas in 2008, Min was at Motorola where he held various positions in Business Development, Global Product Marketing, Strategy, Operations, and Product Marketing. Min has more than 20 years of experience in Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) industries, and Management Consulting.
Min holds a Master’s degree from University of Michigan Ross School of business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Yonsei University, Korea.
Selene is an Associate in the Corporate Development team focused on SK’s overseas M&A, strategic investment, and partnership opportunities. Prior to joining SKTA, Selene began her career at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, a $25B sovereign wealth fund, focusing on technology growth equity investments in the United States and Canada.
Selene holds a B.S. in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo.
Shesh is responsible for investments in the core technology space. Prior to joining SK Telecom, Shesh built and managed teams across advanced research, technology development, product development, and operations at fortune 100 companies. His experience includes sourcing early to later stage tech startups for investment, evaluating viability and exit strategies, assessing competitive landscapes, and advising existing portfolio companies.
Vincent is responsible for corporate investment and startup incubation at SKTA. Vincent has 18+ years of operating & management experience, previously as VP of Corporate Strategy & Development at VSS Monitoring, a network performance and security startup was acquired by Danaher Corp (NYSE: DHR) company in 2012; Prior to Danaher, Vincent was investment associate at KLM Capital, a US-China early stage venture fund. Prior to KLM, he held various positions in product management, business development and strategic alliances, including Photonic Power Systems (NASDAQ: VIAV) and Lucent Technologies (NYSE: NOK). He co-founded homeFiber, a fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) provider that delivered one of the first gigabit access network in Silicon Valley. His domain expertise spans across communications, networking infrastructure, cybersecurity, blockchain, IoT, mobility, and has a strong interest in energy and sustainability.
Most recently as Principal of Rhapsody Ventures, Vincent invests and advises in early stage startups in blockchain and DLT. He is a mentor at OneValley (formerly GSV Labs), Founder Institute and Plug & Play. He received his BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering and BA in Music from UC San Diego, and MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
