SK telecom Americas, Inc. ("SKTA," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through our website skta.com (the "Site"), and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, "CCPA/CPRA"), the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), and other applicable laws.

1. Information We Collect

Our Site does not have any forms that collect personal information directly. We collect personal information only in the following two ways:

We do not collect telephone numbers, postal addresses, financial information, or other personal information through the Site. We do not knowingly collect Sensitive Personal Information (as defined under CPRA §1798.140(ae)) or information of children under 16.

If you voluntarily include Sensitive Personal Information in an email to us, we will not use it for purposes that would require disclosure under CPRA §1798.121, and you may request its deletion at any time by emailing privacy@skta.com.

We use the personal information described above only to: (a) respond to your inquiries; (b) communicate with you when you reach out as a representative of a limited partner, portfolio company, prospective investee, service provider, or counterparty; (c) operate and secure the Site; and (d) comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose personal information only to: (a) our affiliates including SK Telecom (our parent company headquartered in South Korea) for internal administration; (b) service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., website hosting) under appropriate contractual or technical safeguards; (c) government authorities when required by law; and (d) successors or transferees in connection with a corporate transaction (including a merger, acquisition, asset sale, bankruptcy, or dissolution).

Cross-border transfers: Personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside California and the United States, including South Korea where our parent company SK Telecom is located. Such transfers are subject to appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, transfers outside of those regions are made in compliance with applicable cross-border data transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

Children under 16: We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

4. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under CCPA/CPRA, subject to legal exceptions:

To exercise these rights, email privacy@skta.com from the email address you used to contact us. We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (extension up to 45 more days possible as permitted by law). Because we identify you primarily through your email address, we may ask additional questions to confirm your identity before fulfilling a request. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; the agent must provide signed permission, proof of their identity, and proof of your identity, as required by CCPA Regulations §7063.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We process your personal information based on the following lawful bases under GDPR Article 6(1): (a) legitimate interests (Art 6(1)(f)) to respond to your inquiries, manage business relationships, and secure the Site; and (b) legal obligation (Art 6(1)(c)) to comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
